Disney Dreamlight Valley: Where to Plant the Orb of Nurturing

The new update of Disney Dreamlight Valley has a lot of new content and the first quest of Scar left many people with questions about the villain of the game. In the quest name “Nature & Nurture” players saw their own shadow running in the shadow Valley and dropping the Orb of Nurturing. Once the players have picked up the orb, they don’t have any idea what to do with it.

In this guide, we’ll tell you where to plant the Orb of Nurturing in the Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Planting the orb of Nurturing

After flowing the water of the river, when you come out of the mines, you’ll see your character’s shadow running inside a dark portal. If you follow it to the dark portal, he’ll drop an orb. Go into the portal and pick up the orb. Come back to Merlin and show him the Orb. He’ll tell you that this is the Orb of Nurturing and he’ll tell you to plant it near its pillar but you’ll have to upgrade your Watering Can to water it properly.

After upgrading your Watering Can, you need to talk to Merlin and he’ll tell you to plant the Orb near its pillar in the Sunlit Plateau. Go to the Sunlit Plateau biome and there’ll be a pillar glowing with purple light. If you don’t find it, go to the Elephant Graveyard and look directly opposite to it, you’ll see a purple light glowing. Go to that light and you’ll see the Pillar. Go close to the pillar and equip your shovel to dig a hole for the Orb of Nurturing.

If you have dug the hole at the right distance then you’ll get the option to plant the Orb just like you get the option of planting a seed. If the hole isn’t at the right distance, you’ll not get the option to plant the Orb. You’ll have to dig a hole closer to the pillar and try again. Once you’ve planted the Orb of Nurturing near its Pillar, you need to water the orb with your upgraded Watering Can. Once you’ve watered the Orb, the game will tell you that it’ll take a few days until it matures.

These days are the real-world days, you’ll have to log in every day and check on the Orb if it needs more water and then wait until it matures. You might have to do this for several days.
