DREDGE – How to Repair the Boat & Equipment
The Boat is your main vessel of the game that you need to keep safe throughout the story of the game. If your vessel or any of your equipment is damaged, you will have to repair it before you do any further exploration or quests for the NPCs. The damaged boat and equipment will slow you down in the ocean and it will make it harder to find the actual city during the nighttime so make sure to keep an eye out for damages on your boat and equipment.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to repair the Boat and Equipment in DREDGE.
Repairing the Boat & Equipment
As you explore the new towns and new areas of the water and catch fish, the durability of your equipment will get lower. The only way to fix them is to repair them from a shop named “Shipwright”. While during your exploration in the daytime or nighttime, if your boat gets hit on a coast of an island or a town, it will take severe damage. The boat can also be fixed by visiting the Shipwright shop.
The shipwright shop can only be found in a town named “Greater Marrow”. The Greater Marrow is the very first town that you will end up in and as you progress in the game by catching fish and selling them, you will unlock the Shipwright shop. The Shipwright shop can sell you the equipment of your boat that can help you catch more rare fish in specific waters or sell you the engine that can increase the speed of your boat.

If your boat or equipment is damaged in your playthrough, you need to make your way to the Greater Marrow town and visit the Shipwright shop. The NPC will automatically suggest that you should repair the boat or equipment if it is damaged. You need to hold down the respective button to pay the NPC to fix your boat and equipment. Once it is done, you will be able to buy further equipment or you can just back out of the shop and continue your exploration.
