Elden Ring: Malenia Blade of Miquella

Malenia Blade of Miquella is a boss in Elden Ring. This boss is amongst the powerful Empyreans which wields like an artificial arm and leg. This boss is also included in the feature of Games Collector’s Edition. Which includes a statue of her and a replica of the helmet. This boss is terrifying as this boss has fast movements and damage that has a unique mechanism. If you don’t play carefully it will kill you instantly and difficult for you to defeat this boss.

Locations

You need to unlock this area. This is a snowy area in Elden Ring with Snowy Storm.

After unlocking this area you need to light four statues in Evergaol. And if you somehow die while lightning the figure you don’t need to light them again. Figures look like this.

After lightning the four Statues you have to approach Ordina, Liturgical Town. You will see a portal there. By taking that portal you will reach Miquella Haligtree. Going through this you have to reach Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree. There you will find the boss by taking multiple lifts in that area.

How to Defeat

The first thing this boss does is she heals when she gives damage it does not matter if she hits you or summons she will heal herself. The hardest thing this boss does is multiple swings sword attacks and circle you around.

Phase One

At first, she does multiple circle attacks which you can call waterfowl dance. If you get caught with this attack she can almost take you to death. You must create distance to survive this attack or use heal potion if you get caught. The second attack is she will spark her sword and attacks you with a forward swipe and roll the sword to both sides of her. You can dodge this attack by rolling to each side to save yourself. The last one in the first phase is the most damaging attack given by the boss. She will hold and grab your neck and through you in the air and then stab. You can roll dodge to save yourself from this attack.

So what you want to do is in the first phase is to focus on staggering her. Once you stagger her she will hold down her knees and you can give her a lot of damage.

Phase Two

When phase two begins she will be in the mid-air and attack you on the ground and explode. This attack can give you a whole lot of damage. In phase two she will also do butterfly kicks to attack you. These butterflies come out of his wings and kick you in the face. This one is difficult to dodge. The strategy is the same as phase one you want to stagger as much as possible and dodge her attacks by keeping distance and rolling around. Let the mimic take the agro come behind her and attack her. She will also do flower bloom. Keep the distance from the flower to save yourself.

After you defeat this boss you will be rewarded with Malenia Great Rune, the Remembrance of the rot goddess, and 480000 Runes.
