Elden Ring: What happens if You Kill Miriel and Why you Shouldn’t Kill him

Miriel is an NPC in the game and he is a teacher which teaches you different sorceries and incantations. You can also give him the sorcery scrolls that you find around the world and in return, he’ll have the new sorceries available for you to learn.

Location

The Miriel can be found on the Church of Vows. It is on the east isle of Liurna of the Lakes. The exact location is shown in the picture.

What happens if you kill Miriel?

As you know that you can kill other NPCs in the game and miriel is also an NPC so, if you’re wondering what would happen if you kill miriel then we will tell you exactly what would happen.

Now if you attack him, he would say to you “Stop it, please… My flesh is akin to stone”. After this when you hit him again, he would say “I cannot be wounded. I cannot die”. He will not attack you back. He will stay there still.

You can just hit him or use magic or any weapon to kill him. He has a lot of HP so he won’t die quickly you have to do massive damage to him in order to kill him. When he dies, he’ll scream in a high pitch sound making you sad for what you just did. You kept on hitting him and he stayed still.

But after killing him you’ll just get his bell bearing and Turtle Neck Meat x 12. But from his bell bearing, you can only buy whatever he has in the shop, you will not see new things even if you collect sorcery scrolls.

You can resurrect certain merchants with the Celestial Dew. You just have to go to the church of Vows and on the statue of lady Rennala, use it and all the NPC’s will be restored but Miriel cannot be resurrected. Once he is killed you can only meet him again in the New Game+.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
