Fans question whether Poké Balls in Pokémon Legends: Arceus match the franchise’s history

From the official website, we have rescued an interesting message related to one of the most prominent Games in the Nintendo Switch catalogue. We are talking about Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
In the text below, those responsible for the title detail the Poké Balls that we are going to use in this game. Here it is:
The Poké Balls of old were apparently built a little differently from the ones we know so well. They were made mostly of wood, and steam puffed from their tops when Pokémon were caught.

However, this has raised a lot of questions among fans, and they wonder if it fits in with the history of Pokémon’s past that we’ve known so far. The truth is that only Poké Balls from the past in Johto were mentioned as being originally made of Bonguris. Many fans have been surprised to see this new design, but others have pointed out that Sinnoh is a different region, so it makes sense that they would use these Poké Balls.
What do you think?
