Fans question whether Poké Balls in Pokémon Legends: Arceus match the franchise’s history

The Poké Balls of old were apparently built a little differently from the ones we know so well. They were made mostly of wood, and steam puffed from their tops when Pokémon were caught.​

However, this has raised a lot of questions among fans, and they wonder if it fits in with the history of Pokémon’s past that we’ve known so far. The truth is that only Poké Balls from the past in Johto were mentioned as being originally made of Bonguris. Many fans have been surprised to see this new design, but others have pointed out that Sinnoh is a different region, so it makes sense that they would use these Poké Balls.
