Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit – Walkthrough

The game begins with a cutscene of Dad driving Oswald to Jeff’s Pizza place. Upon reaching the Pizza place, Day 1 of the game begins.

Jeff’s Pizza – Day 1

Find the Ball Pit

Once you get control of Oswald, go to the right side and enter the room beside the stage to reach the Ball Pit. Move towards the pit and interact with the ladder to hide in the pit.

Explore the Area

Suddenly the Ball Pit will be filled with playful kids. Leave the Ball Pit room and go out to the Dining Area. Make your way to the left side to meet Mike and Chip.

Meet Mike and Chip in Arcade

After speaking with Mike and Chip, continue to the left side and leave the Dining Area. Now, enter the room above to reach the Arcade. Speak with Mike and Chip to start playing the Pizzaroller game. Throw the ball by holding the shoot key in one of the point holes to score. Upon completing the game, you will participate in a tag game.

Run anywhere in the area and try not to get caught. Once you get caught, Mike and Chip will give the idea of playing Hide and Seek.

Find Somewhere to Hide

To hide yourself, go back to the Arcade and make your way to the room on the right side. Interact with the old costume on the floor to hide in it. Chip will come into the room and hide himself in the vent, but Mike will find him easily.

As Mike and Chip leave the room, the light turns off and Freddy Fazbear appears in front of the costume. Hold your breath by holding the respective key and let Freddy go past. A brief cutscene will play in which everyone is screaming and running away from something. Go out of the room and leave the Arcade room.

See Ya, Dad (Leave Ending)

As you come out of the Arcade, you will see several kids running out of the pizza place. If you choose to leave the pizza place as well, you will unlock the See Ya, Dad achievement which is a leaving ending to the game.

Continuing Day 1

Look for Chip and Mike

Instead of leaving the place and initiating an early ending, go to the Dining Area on the right side to look for Chip and Mike. Keep on going ahead in the Dining Area until you reach the first door in the hallway. Open the door to see Freddy Fazbear who will tell you to follow. Go to the room on the left side and Freddy will try to jump on you. Press the respective key shown on the screen to avoid the attack.

Escape

Run all the way back to reach the Dining Area and then enter the Ball Pit room. Interact with the pit to jump inside it and you will be back in the present time. As you speak with Dad, he will get caught by Freddy. Press the respective button on the screen to pull out Dad from the Pit, but unfortunately, he will be turned.

Oswald’s House – Night 1

Call Mom

After the cutscene, go out of Oswald’s Room and interact with the door on the right. Freddy will be lying on the bed and the phone will be on the nightstand. You need to make Freddy leave the room to get to the phone. Run down to reach the kitchen and then interact with the Blender to turn it on. Now, go to the Dining Room on the left and hide underneath the table.

Wait for a door sound queue to get out from underneath the table and enter the room in the top left corner. Run to the right to open another door and then enter the Parents’ Room. Pick up the phone from the nightstand but it will not have Mom’s number saved on it.

Dial Mom’s Number

To find Mom’s number, go out of the room and back to the kitchen. Interact with the refrigerator to pick up Mom’s number. Before dialing the number, go to the laundry located right side of the kitchen. Once there, open the inventory to see Mom’s Number (555-5683) and then select the phone to dial the number.

Meet Mom

As you dial the number and speak with her, Freddy will be informed of your location. Hide in the trunk and swat the spiders by pressing the respective buttons on the screen. Wait for Freddy to leave and let Mom arrive at the house. Leave the trunk and go all the way to the left to see Mom.

Find a Way to Escape

After the cutscene, leave your room and make your way back to the Living Room where you met Mom, and then interact with the house door to escape. Once done, select the ‘Pizzeria’ location on the map to reach Jeff’s Pizza.

Go to the Ball Pit

Enter Jeff’s Pizza and speak with Jeff at the counter. Go to the Dining Area and make your way to the Ball Pit room. Interact with the ladder to jump into the pit and go back in time. As you come out of the pit, pick up the Wooden Balls on the floor.

Find the Kid

Go out of the Ball Pit room and you will find a kid stuck in a robot structure in the Dining Area.

Find Something to Get the Kid Out

Now, jump back into the pit to reach the present time and then go over to Jeff at the reception to ask him if he has any Screwdriver. Before he can give us the screwdriver, he will tell you to take out the trash and dump it on the mill. For the road, he will give you a Flashlight.

Pick up the trash and leave Jeff’s Pizza. Select the Mill on the map to reach the trash point and dump the trash. You can also pick up a Battery, a Puzzle Matrix, and a Rat Trap at the trash place. Now, go back to the Pizzeria and get the key to the basement from Jeff. The basement is located at the back of the backstage area.

Go to the right side in the Dining Area to reach the backstage and then use the key to open the basement. Unfortunately, there will be no screwdriver here but an extra battery will do you good. Now, go back to the ball pit to go back in time and then go to the backstage area. Here, you will find Dad’s Wallet on the floor. Use the Basement Key to open the door and you will find the Screwdriver.

Now, make your way back to the crying kid and interact with him to get him out of the robot structure.

Escape

While speaking to the crying kid, Freddy will interrupt. Run back to the Ball Pit to return to the present time. Leave the room to begin the second day.

Day 2 – Oswald’s House

After the cutscene, head to the kitchen to get some breakfast. Head to the Dining Room to join Dad/Freddy. Oswald will change his mind about the breakfast after seeing Freddy at the table. Go back to the kitchen and pick up the Lunch Bag. Now, leave the house and go to the School.

Find the Kid with the Firecracker

Watch the cutscene and interact with the firecracker on the ground. Go back to the class and as the class ends, go out and speak with Jet, standing next to the lockers.

Go Home

Go out of the school to see some kids bullying Gabrielle. Speak with her and she will give you her grandfather’s sketchbook containing valuable information regarding the Fazbears. After speaking with Gabrielle, go back home to initiate the second night.

Night 2 – Oswald’s House

Find a Way to Escape

As the night begins, you need to get out of the house again to get to the Ball Pit, but you can’t go from the front door. Go out of Oswald’s Room and go to the room on the left. Interact with the rope to go up to the attic. Pick up the ladder in the attic and then make your way to the laundry room. Place the ladder underneath the open window to leave the house.

Find a Way to Fix the Lights

Go to Jeff’s Pizza and make your way to the Ball Pit to go back in time. As you reach the pit and come out from the other side, the lights will go out. Leave the ball pit room and make your way to the backstage area. Interact with the Fuse Box to turn the lights back on and Freddy will start hunting you.

Go to the Basement and hide in the trunk. Wait for Freddy to leave the basement and then quietly make your way out to the Dining Area.

Find the Kid

Enter the room behind the robot structure and then interact with the door on the right. Chica will start following you so run to the left side until you fall and drop the Lunch Bag. Chica will pick up the Lunch Bag and leave you. Now, enter the room beside the fallen chair to find a Photo of Oswald beside the presents. Leave the room and set the Rat Trap to catch the rat in the hallway.

Talk to Jeff

In the meantime, go back to the Ball Pit to return to the present time and speak with Jeff. However, Jeff will not lend you any slices of pizza.

Find a Way to Cause a Distraction

Now, go back to the ball pit to go back in time and pick up the rat trap with the rat inside. Once done, come back to Jeff’s Pizza and release the Rat near the lady. It will cause a distraction to move Jeff in front of the kitchen. Head inside the kitchen to pick up a Slice of Pizza.

Lure the Bird Out

Leave the kitchen and go back to the ball pit. Make your way back to the hallway where you encountered Chica and place the slice of pizza in the pizza box. Hide under the table and let Chica and Freddy go away.

Rescue the Kid

Go to the right side and enter the room. Interact with the cupboard on the right side to let out Mike.

Go to the Entrance

Now, make your way to the entrance of the place to speak with Mike. While speaking with Mike, Freddy will surprise attack you. Press the respective button shown on the screen to lose yourself from Freddy and then run back to the ball pit to escape.

Day 3 – Oswald’s House

Go Find Mom

Leave the room and head to the kitchen to find Mom. Make your way to the living room to meet with mom and dad before going to school. Head outside and go to the school.

Get Mrs. Meecham’s Book from the Principal’s Office

Go out of the classroom and head to the right side to find the Principal’s Office. However, the Principal herself will be stuck outside as she had misplaced the key. To find the principal’s office key, head to the left side and enter the class beside the Bulletin Board. Go over to the teacher’s desk and interact with it to find the principal’s office key.

Now, go back to the principal and give her the key to enter the office. Pick up Mrs. Meecham’s book and Stretchy Hand from the table. After that, go back to the classroom.

Go Home

Once done, leave the school and go back to the house to initiate the third night.

Night 3 – Oswald’s House

Find a Way to Escape

As the night begins, you need to get out of the house again to get to the Ball Pit, but you can’t go from the laundry room as the ladder has been busted. Go to the dining room to encounter Freddy, then run around and hide to lose him. Once he is gone, run to the main door to leave the house.

Find a Way into the Arcade

Go to Jeff’s Pizza and make your way to the Ball Pit to go back in time. The arcade will be locked and will require a key to unlock. Make your way to the Dining Area but Chica will make a noise upon seeing you. Head inside the door behind Chica and then hide under a table. Let Freddy go away and then go to the right side to see a shiny item above the posters. Use the Stretchy Hand to get the Key to the Arcade.

Go to the room on the right to find a Family Vacation Photo on the floor. Now, leave the room and enter the room beside the fallen chair. Use the key on the door on the left side to reach the Arcade. As you go ahead in the arcade, you will encounter Bonnie. Run away from him and hide.

Find Something to Lure the Rabbit Out

Go to the backstage area to find Rabbit’s Guitar but its strings will be broken. Make your way to the ball pit to return to the present time and then go to the Mill. Search the garbage to find Guitar’s String and then go back to the ball pit in the pizzeria. Once there, make your way backstage and interact with the guitar to fix it.

Lure the Rabbit Out

Go to the basement to hide and let Freddy go away. Come outside to the stage and interact with the amplifier to connect the guitar. Play the tones by pressing the respective buttons on the screen to lure the rabbit out. Run back to the basement and hide in the vents. Rabbit will try to catch you in the vents so press the buttons on the screen to get away from him.

Rescue Chip

Now, make your way to the arcade and interact with Chip to rescue him. While speaking with Chip, Fazbears will come to the arcade and you have to make an escape. Run to the door on the right to hide in the vents and wait for Freddy to leave. Search the presents beside the door to get Toy Freddy and then make your way to the Ball Pit to escape.

Day 4 – Oswald’s House

Leave for School

As the next day begins, leave the house and first go to the library to meet with Jet. Give him the Toy Freddy to get a Firecracker. Now, go to School to initiate a cutscene.

Go to the Ball Pit

After the cutscene, leave the school and go to the Pizzeria. Make your way to the Dining Area to reach the Ball Pit and start the fourth night.

Night 4 – Pizzeria

Investigate the Scream

Go to the room with presents from where you picked up the Toy Freddy and hide in the vents to avoid any danger. After that, interact with the door on the right. Oswald will place a firecracker on the floor to stun the bear. Once the bear is stunned, enter the Security Room to find a terrified kid.

Pick up Dad’s Wedding Ring beside the kid and then speak with the kid. The kid will only mumble ‘the cameras,’ so interact with the cameras to check them.

Distract the Creature

After a terrifying jump scare, leave the security room to distract the creature, but it will still take the kid. Go back to the Security Room, check the cameras, and switch to Party Hallway to locate the kid with the creature.

Look for the Kid

Go to the party hallway and enter the room on the right. Interact with the freezer to try and open it but it will won’t budge.

Find a Way to Open the Freezer

Go to the Arcade and pick up the Hammer from where you freed Chip. After that, return to the freezer and use the Hammer to open it.

Escape

Upon saving the terrified child, Freddy will budge in through the door and catch you. Press the respective key on the screen to get away from Freddy and then run back to the Ball Pit to escape.

Day 5 – Oswald’s House

Go to the Ball Pit

After the cutscene, leave the house and go straight to Pizzeria. As you reach the Ball Pit room, you will find that the door is locked. Jeff will be in his office so make your way to the office to speak with him and get the Ball Pit Door Key. Now, go back to the Dining Area and open the Ball Pit room. Enter inside and then go to the pit.

Find Dad

As you come out of the other side, Freddy will start chasing you instantly. Find a hiding spot quickly to get away from Freddy. Now, make your way to the Party Hall and go to the left side to hear a trapped girl. Go to the backstage to find a stash of junk. Interact with it to find the Party Room Keycard.

Head back to the Party Hall and use the keycard to open the Party Room. After rescuing the girl, look on the floor where you are standing to find a Strange Photo. Pick it up and then enter the vents. Come out of the other side of the vents to find Dad.

Save Dad

Interact with Dad to untie the rope and then hide in the vents again. As Freddy takes Dad away, go to the other side of the vents and head to the Ball Pit room to find Freddy and Dad. Freddy will attack you so press the respective key on the screen to punch Freddy down and take Dad to the Pit.

Ending

Now, if you have collected all Dad Items and the Strange Photo, it will unlock the True Ending for you. However, if you have missed any one of these items, you will save Dad but Freddy will take away Oswald which concludes with a Bad Ending.
