Fields of Mistria: How to Catch Bugs
Bug Catching is one of the activities in Fields of Mistria that will earn players various kinds of Bugs that can be used for several purposes like donating them to the Museum, unlocking new recipes, progressing through the mines, and selling them. All of these actions will also help you raise the reputation of Mistria which increases the Town Rank.
This guide will help you how to catch bugs in Fields of Mistria.
How to Catch Bugs in Fields of Mistria
To start with catching Bugs, the essential item that players will require is the Bug Net. Without the Bug Net tool, players will not be able to catch a single Bug. As the Starter Tools don’t include any of the tools for other activities, the players must get themselves a Bug Net first by meeting Luc at the Inn on Day 4 of Spring.
Once players have obtained the net, follow the following steps to catch the bugs.
- Locate the Bugs by exploring distinct areas of Mistria
- Equip the Bug Net before going close to the Bug.
- Now, approach slowly behind the Bug and hold the interaction Button to charge the swing to increase the chances of catching the Bug.
- Release the interaction button to swing and if the arc of the swing is in the way of the Bug, it will be caught.
- To catch Bugs quickly, you can simply swing the Bug net by pressing the interaction button but keep in mind that you must have at least one Energy stored to swing the net.
NOTE: Swinging the net won’t cost any Energy but the activity requires you to have at least one Energy saved up.
Common-rarity Bugs can be found at any time of the day but certain Bugs come out at the specific time/season. Specific Bugs also have designated spawn areas so, you will only find certain Bugs at their designated spawn areas.
Moreover, the bugs spawn in the Mines don’t have a certain season so you will find them mostly during your mines run.
