Former Rockstar Games Developer Believes Players Will Initially Be Disappointed with GTA 6 Due to Inflated Expectations

In a recent interview with SanInPlay Youtuber, a former Rockstar Games developer, Obbe Vermeij shared his experience with Rockstar Games company and thoughts on the upcoming GTA VI. He believes that players will be “initially disappointed with GTA VI due to inflated expectations” as it is unlikely to be much different from GTA V due to the slow development of technology over the years.

While justifying his point, Obbe stated, “Technology moves slower. The difference between PS1 and PS2 was huge, while between PS4 and PS5 it’s not that big. I don’t think we’ll see a jump as big as between San Andreas and GTA IV.”

However, despite the thinking of disappointment for the players, Obbe also believes that GTA VI will be the best game and surpass all other games in quality. Moreover, Obbe Vermeij admitted that he was impressed by the beach scene in the first GTA VI trailer, where each character had their own unique animation.

As Rockstar is known for showing games as they are in their videos and trailer, GTA VI will raise the quality bar in video games.
