GEO decides not to distribute Animal crossing Nintendo Switch in Japan due to lack of stock

One of Japan’s largest distributors, GEO, has made an important announcement aimed at its consumers.

They have decided that they will not open reservations for the Animal Crossing themed Nintendo Switch in their main stores and website. Many of you will be wondering what they are going to do with this edition. Well, very easy, they have decided to circumvent it, the winners of this lottery can aspire to buy the product.

The reason for this is simple, they foresee that they will not have enough stock to cover all the demands they will receive with this limited edition. Luckily for the Japanese market, Nintendo has confirmed that they will expand stock if necessary when the coronavirus situation calms down.

Nintendo is going to launch Animal Crossing: New Horizons on March 20.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
