GTA Trilogy: How to request a refund for the game

These are all the steps you would have to follow on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation if you want to request a refund if you have not been convinced by GTA Trilogy.

The gaming community has been waiting for a new installment of GTA for many years, and apparently, we are going to have to wait a few more years to enjoy the sixth numbered installment.

Meanwhile, Rockstar has decided to calm users by releasing different remasters of their games, but it seems that with GTA Trilogy it has not gone entirely well.

Recently the GTA Trilogy was released with GTA III, GTA Vice City, and GTA San Andreas, but many users have been disappointed, not only because there are quite a few iconic songs missing from the game’s radio stations, but also due to different problems in the modeling of the characters, the combat and certain playable aspects.

It is possible to request a refund for GTA Trilogy if you are not satisfied, and it varies depending on whether you have purchased the digital version of the game on PC, Xbox, or PlayStation.

GTA Trilogy: How to request a refund for the game

Request a refund if you have purchased the PC version in digital

If you are a PC gamer you must go to Rockstar support to request a refund manually.

To do this, you must log in to your Rockstar Social Club account and go to the Rockstar support page.

Once you have done so, you will receive an email requesting your order number, you must complete the form and wait for the response.

If you bought the digital version of Xbox

The process with consoles is much easier, if you have purchased the Xbox version you should go to “request a refund” on the subscription and billing page of your Microsoft account.

If you meet the requirements, it will let you check the box of the game and press the option to “request a refund.”

If you have purchased the digital version of PlayStation

For PlayStation users, simply go to the refund request page on the PlayStation Store and select the game, and follow the steps on the screen.

If you bought it for Switch in digital

Apparently, Nintendo does not make this type of refund for digital purchases as they make clear on their support page, so you will have to contact Nintendo directly for another solution.

For cases where the refund is possible, you must meet a series of requirements to be able to receive the refund, such as requesting it within 14 days after the purchase of the game, and you do not have to have dedicated a lot of time to the title to avoid that there are people who want to get their money back if they have already enjoyed it to the fullest.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
