The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim: How to upgrade to Anniversary Edition from Special Edition
These are all the ways you have to update to the new Anniversary version of Skyrim, specifically from the Special Edition.
Surely you remember the special date of November 11, 2011, with the launch of The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim, and it has been more than 10 years since we fell in love with this Bethesda title and that it has been receiving different editions throughout the time with all that extra content that came out later.
And now from November 11, 2021, we have an anniversary version that includes improvements for the new consoles and also all that additional content from recent years.
Unfortunately, it is not an affordable price if you have not kept some of the previous editions like the Special, but there are several ways you can get the cheapest Anniversary version.
The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim: How to upgrade to Anniversary Edition from Special Edition
The update process is very simple since it is within the game itself, but obviously, you must have one of the previous versions to take the step.
The most recommended is that you have the special edition of Skyrim. Once you run it, an option will appear in the menu where you can upgrade to the anniversary version by paying 19.99 euros.
If you do not have any of the previous versions, you will have no choice but to go to the market and buy a copy of the Special Edition game. You can try to buy it second-hand or buy a new one in any of the stores that still have stock.
With this, you can save some money but you will have to continue paying an additional 19.99 euros to upgrade to the Anniversary.
The third option is the most obvious, to buy directly the anniversary edition of Skyrim that, although it has a somewhat high price, it is quite likely that it will end up going down over time or that it can be obtained cheaply in promotion now at the end of the year, on all with Black Friday.
