Helltide Chests Will Now Give Unique Loot More Frequently in Diablo IV

We all have suffered from taking part in the Helltide events happening in the World of Sanctuary and only finding the Legendary Items from the Helltide chests which is a bit of a letdown. Luckily, the developers talked about it in a Livestream while revealing the First Season of Diablo IV, and they released the Patch on the same day that made numerous changes to the game. Patch 1.0.4 has tweaked down the Health Pool and Damage Output of various bosses which will be quite fortunate for the new players of the game.

Alongside the nerf of the bosses, the latest patch also changed the drops of the Helltide Chests. In the previous patch, players will have to grind the Nightmare Dungeons to find the Unique Loot because the Helltide Chests only drop the Legendary Items. However, in the latest patch, the players who will be partaking in the Helltide events will be getting rewarded with Unique Items more frequently while looting the Helltide chests.

The nature of the Helltide chests remains the same which is available only during the Helltide event. So, the players who are partaking in the Helltide event will also have to keep an eye on their mini-map to locate the Helltide chests as they don’t show up on the big map. As players get in the vicinity of the Helltide Chests, they will pop up on the mini-map for the players to loot. As the Patch launched on Thursday, the Uniques were temporarily disabled for a day because Blizzard was working on the hotfix for the Helltide Chests but they are now available for the players to get their hands on them.

The very last thing that the latest patch has changed is the favorite of Late-Game Crafters. Now, players will be able to collect crafting materials up to 99,999 instead of 9,999. The cap has been increased on the crafting materials which will allow players to do even more crafting and test out various weapons and armor on their characters.

The very first Season of Diablo IV, Season of the Malignant is set to be released on July 20, 2023, which will include a new Seasonal Character and a whole new content for the players to enjoy.
