Hitman 3 has become a temporary Epic Game Store exclusive

The developers decided to make a deal with Epic, since they publish the third part of the series themselves, and they will need any financial support.

This deal will give us the ability to create the game the way we intended and release it to our community without compromise.

It has not yet been specified whether this will be an annual exclusive or a shorter deal, but in January 2021 the game will be released on PC only in EGS.

In honor of the announcement, the developers will begin distribution of the first part of Hitman in the Epic store – it will be available to pick up from August 27 to September 3.

In addition to these announcements, the studio has released a trailer with a new location located in the UK. The style of the video is reminiscent of the film “Knives Out” and is set in an expensive mansion.

In addition to PC, the game is also coming to Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and Google Stadia.

A deal with Epic Games usually involves some final amount that developers will receive. For example, Epic paid 9.5 million euros for Control, which is about a third of the game’s production budget.
