How to Get Posidonia in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Storybook Vale expansion of Disney Dreamlight Valley offers several new crafting recipes that players can craft for various purposes including completing the quests. These new crafting recipes are crafted with the new crafting materials which are also introduced with the expansion. One of the new crafting materials is Posidonia. Players will have to get Posidonia for several expansion quests along with the friendship quests for the new characters and many other crafting recipes. This guide will help you get Posidonia in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Get Posidonia in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Posidonia is one of the new crafting materials in Disney Dreamlight Valley exclusive to the Storybook Vale expansion. Players can get Posidonia material by fishing in the open water around the areas of the Mythopia biome.

There are four areas in the Mythopia biome, The Elysian Fields, The Fiery Plains, The Statue’s Shadow, and Mount Olympus. You will get to unlock the Elysian Fields first at the cost of 2,000 Story Magic. Once you have access to the Mythopia biome, go to any fishing area and start fishing in the open water (no ripples).

Complete the fishing mini-game of reeling in the catch to have a chance of catching the Posidonia. However, there are some common fish in the waters of Mythopia so it might take you a few tries before you catch the Posidonia. Moreover, make sure that your Royal Fishing Rod tool does not have any elixir/potion on it. Otherwise, you will catch fish often instead of Posidonia in the open water.

Upon reeling the Posidonia out of the water, you will find it in your inventory.

Uses of Posidonia

Posidonia is a crafting material exclusive to the Storybook Vale expansion. Players will need it for crafting various recipes. Moreover, players can also sell it for 20 Star Coins at Goofy’s Stall.

Playing Video Games is the very first hobby that I partake in and it became my favorite hobby. Played Unreal Tournament 2004 as my first game which made me a fan of FPS Games. Story and Adventure Games are still my Cup of Tea to go with as they give more detailing to the described worlds and characters. I love to help out my fellow gamers across all over the world by making my publications.
