How to Unlock Lumiere and Cogsworth in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s new update, Return to Beast’s Castle, is live right now. It includes all new story content as well as new Friendship Quests for the two new characters, Lumiere and Cogsworth. Lumiere and Cogsworth are originally from the Beauty and the Beast movie. Players will be able to unlock them and invite them to the Dreamlight Valley. In this guide, we will tell you how to unlock Lumiere and Cogsworth in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Unlock Lumiere and Cogsworth in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Unlocking Lumiere and Cogsworth characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley will require players to step into the Beauty and the Beast Realm and complete all of the new Realm quests. The Beauty and the Beast is one of the old Realms from where players bring Belle and the Beast to the Valley. With the new update, there is something wrong in the Realm that players have to check and help the Beast’s friends.

NOTE: Players must have first unlocked the Beauty and the Beast Realm and unlocked the Beast and Belle for the new content to trigger.

Upon entering the Beauty and the Beast Realm, meet with Lumiere in the Library. From there, you have to pursue the quest to find Cogsworth in the garden’s center. After that, you will have to complete a series of Realm quests to fix the Beast’s castle before you can bring Lumiere and Cogsworth to Dreamlight Valley. There are four quests in total that you must complete to unlock both Lumiere and Cogsworth.

Complete the New Beauty and the Beast Realm Quests

Lumiere will come to the Valley first, and Cogsworth will come later. However, both of them will come to the Valley during the final Realm quest.

• A Growing Mystery
• Belle, Book, and Candle
• A Guide to Better Castle-Keeping

During the “A Guide to Better Castle-Keeping” quest, you will be able to invite Lumiere to Dreamlight Valley. After welcoming Lumiere, talk to the Beast, and he will give you the invitation letter for Cogsworth. Go back to the Beauty and the Beast Realm and speak with Cogsworth. Give him the invitation letter, and then Cogsworth will also arrive at the Valley. As Lumiere and Cogsworth are friends of the Beast and Belle, they will live at the Beast’s house in the Valley.

From here, you can freely hang out with them, give them gifts, and complete their Friendship Quests for exclusive rewards.
