I Am Future: How to Build A Workbench

The workbench is one of the most crucial workstations in I Am Future that will allow players to craft various useful items and tools for their survival. Players will have to use the Workbench to craft the items using the resources to progress further in the game and unlock locked areas on the roof.

How to Build A Workbench in I Am Future

To build the Workbench, players will first have to unlock its blueprint. The blueprint of Workbench will be unlocked once players have completed the Sleeping Task and helped out Earl from the Electrosites. Players will have to remove the infected weeds on the roof and they will come across StopWeed Spray. Picking up the StopWeed Spray will unlock the Blueprint for Workbench and players will be able to make it by the following steps.

• Once players have unlocked the Blueprint, they need to select the Blueprint icon located beside the character’s face on the bottom left of the screen.
• It will open the Construction menu which will show the known blueprints of the craftable items. Select the Workbench from the menu and place it in the vicinity of the area.
• Players can rotate the campfire by pressing the R Button and place it by pressing the left-click button.
• After placing down the construction panel of the Workbench, players will require 1x Metal Sheet and 4x Plastic.

Players can get the Plastic by dismantling the blue barrels on the roof. Metal Sheet can be picked up near the Cryopod from which the character woke up at the start of the game. After getting the required materials for the workbench, place them on the construction panel of the workbench to complete its build.

Building the Workbench will give players access to various crafting recipes that they can make with the required resources. Gather the resources and store them in the storage or the fridge and use them to craft a useful item to progress ahead in the game.
