Marvel’s Avengers fails to keep players’ interest one month after its launch, but Crystal Dynamics promises exciting new features, and some will be revealed next week.
It has been more than a month since the launch of Marvel’s Avengers. And after the initial excitement of playing with Marvel’s iconic superheroes, many players have grown tired of repeating the same missions, in the same scenarios. There have been no major updates in its first month, and worst of all, we don’t know when the promised new content will arrive.
However, from Crystal Dynamics, they reassure us and are convinced that the players will return with the new and exciting news. Also, we will have more information next week. The head of the studio, Scot Amos, has expressed.
The studio works every day to make the game better, they explain, with bug fixes and quality of life improvements. In the coming weeks will come a new mission War Zone, Tachyon Rifts, a new Outpost (the hub of the game), and another mission, AIM’s Cloning Lab, which requires a high level of coordination in the four-player team.
In addition, in the “near future” two new heroes will arrive, Kate Bishop, in the operation called Taking Aim, and then two other operations led by Clint Barton (both are Hawkeye). These missions will pick up the story right where the campaign left off, and expand it with new mysteries and villains.
Hopefully by next week, in the promised blog update, we will have more concrete data on dates. Most players are asking for a more concrete roadmap to know what to expect throughout the months of the game. Currently, the average number of active players on Steam in the game does not exceed 2,000.
Marvel’s Avengers is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and soon on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
