Masahiro Sakurai was the very special person for Satoru Iwata

Masahiro Sakurai, the creator of Kirby and the director of the game which has become the best fighting game in History. Recently, the publisher of the book Iwata-san published an interview with Masahiro Sakurai. Masahiro Sakura talks about Satoru Iwata, he was a Japanese businessman, video game programmer, and gamer. He was the fourth president and chief executive officer of Nintendo.

Masahiro Sakurai says Satoru Iwata considered him ‘a very special person’. He first met Satoru Iwata at HAL Laboratory where he went for a job interview. The very first thing he liked in Satoru Iwata was his smile. Furthermore, Sakurai was asked many questions at the time of the interview and he impressed Satoru Iwata with kind words.

The surprising thing which Sakurai says in the interview is that he didn’t write his resume using Advanced Software(At that time). When Satoru Iwata saw the resume he released that Sakurai was a special person.
