Nintendo might not have honored the 89-year-old grandma in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

We thought Nintendo put a character, Audie, by name in Animal Crossing: New Horizons to honor the 89-year-old grandma who has become famous among Animal Crossing fans.

If you have played other Animal Crossing series games you would better know that Audie is a unique character in the game. We thought the character could be referring to the old woman. But the website today.com confirmed us.

According to today.com, they tried to ask Nintendo officials about Audie’s character whether the character refers to the old woman or not. Unfortunately, they said Nintendo was unwilling to comment on the matter.

Recently, we saw the grandma unboxing her Animal Crossing: New Horizons Switch. If you have not watched the video, then we are leaving the video for you.
