Nintendo switch helped Police to solve a murder case

On November 20, 2019, a thief broke into the home of Matthew Wise, a professor at the University of South Alabama, shot and killed the man and stole his switch. Believe it or not, the police found the thief through the network activity of the switch.

Thanks to this last action, the police have managed to find the criminal, since online activity registered in the console has been key to find him. After the robbery, the offender turned on the Nintendo Switch, thus activating a fingerprint that the police used to track and locate the location of Tiquez Timmons , who admitted to being the driver of the theft escape.

The Nintendo Switch is a video game console developed by Nintendo, released on March 3, 2017. It is a hybrid console that can be used as a stationary and portable device. Its wireless Joy-Con controllers, with standard buttons and directional analog sticks for user input, motion sensing, and tactile feedback, can attach to both sides of the console to support handheld-style play.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
