Smash Bros. Ultimate has become the best-selling game of the last decade in Japan

In 2018, Smash Bros. Ultimate was declared the best-selling game worldwide by Amazon. Smash Bros. Ultimate has become the best-selling game of 2010s in Japan. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has sold a total of 3,383,582 physical copies in Japan.  No doubt, its a great achievement for Nintendo as it makes Smash Bros. ultimate the best-selling game in over 10 years across all platforms.

It is believed that the only games that can compete with the fighting game today are Pokémon Sword and Shield , which are also selling at a dizzying pace in Japan. Currently, this Pokémon delivery already exceeds 2,456,459 units sold, although it seems difficult to exceed the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate figure before the end of 2019. Pokemon sword/shield have become the best-selling games in south Korea. Pokemon sword became the best selling-game in Middle East.
