You can use any Refiner you have available to turn Copper, Cadmium, Emeril, indium, and several other resources into Chromatic Metal. The easiest refiner that you can get in No Man’s Sky is a Portable Refiner and the easiest resource that you can use to turn it into a Chromatic Metal is Copper.

Put down the Portable Refiner and interact with it. Add Carbon (Fuel) to the refiner and then add the Copper in the Input slot on the left side. Now, look to the right side to see Chromatic Metal as the Expected Output. Press the respective button to begin the process and the refiner starts refining Chromatic Metal.

You can leave it running if you want to turn all of your copper into Chromatic Metal or you can manually stop it after getting a satisfied number of Chromatic Metal. Once done, you can put the refined Chromatic Metal and Copper into your inventory, and then pick up the refiner to add both the refiner and the fuel back to your inventory.

Playing Video Games is the very first hobby that I partake in and it became my favorite hobby. Played Unreal Tournament 2004 as my first game which made me a fan of FPS Games. Story and Adventure Games are still my Cup of Tea to go with as they give more detailing to the described worlds and characters. I love to help out my fellow gamers across all over the world by making my publications.
