Once Human: How to Set Up a Campsite

Surviving in a post-apocalyptic world where all living beings have been infested by an alien creature will require you to find a suitable place to make a base of your own where you can combine together the resources to make essential survival items. Similar to other open-world survival games, there are several useful workbenches and structures in Once Human that players can build throughout the journey.

One of the structures that players will be advised to make early in the game is a Campsite that comes with a Simple Crafting Bench. This guide will help you how to set up a campsite in Once Human.

How to Set Up A Campsite in Once Human

Upon reaching Victor Hammet’s territory after the initial mission of the game, you will be required to make a campsite at a suitable place. To set up a campsite, you need to gather the following materials.

  • 10x Log
  • 10x Gravel

Both of these are basic materials that can be gathered with bare hands. To collect the logs, go to any tree and hold the interaction key. Your character will automatically break down the key with a stone and gather logs. For Gravel, you need to find a rock and then hold the interaction key to break the rock to get Gravel.

After gathering the required materials, press the T button to bring out the overview of the campsite. Move around to find a viable spot and then press the LMB to build the campsite.

Campsite Uses in Once Human

The campsite is not only used for making food items and drinks, but it also comes with a Simple Crafting Bench where you can craft simple weapons, tools, and armor. Moreover, the campsite also acts as a respawn point for your character, so whenever your character dies, they will spawn back at the location of the Campsite.

Playing Video Games is the very first hobby that I partake in and it became my favorite hobby. Played Unreal Tournament 2004 as my first game which made me a fan of FPS Games. Story and Adventure Games are still my Cup of Tea to go with as they give more detailing to the described worlds and characters. I love to help out my fellow gamers across all over the world by making my publications.
