One Piece Odyssey: How to Gain EXP

One Piece Odyssey is an RPG action-adventure game that takes place on an island named “Mysterious Island”. Players will get to meet new characters from different areas of the island as they progress through the main story. However, the main characters are of the Pirates and players will get to play with them throughout the game and get to level them up by gaining the EXP.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to gain Exp in One Piece Odyssey.

All Ways to Gain EXP

There are different ways to get Experience Points in One Piece Odyssey. The main source to get EXP is by defeating the enemies in the Battles. Wining the Battles will give Money, EXP, and other Rewards. However, players can also get EXP in the following ways as well.

Use Luffy’s Field Action Ability

Luffy has a Field Action ability named “Observation Haki” which is used to detect the enemies that can give bonus EXP. If you see enemies ahead of you, use the Observation Haki ability with Luffy to see if any enemies can give Bonus EXP. If an enemy has a Bonus EXP, it will show a “Gold EXP” sign on top of the enemy.

You just need to go close to the enemy to engage it in a fight and once you have defeated it, you will get relatively more EXP than normal Enemies’ Battles.

Defeat Rare Enemies

There are many big Monsters and Rare Monsters on the Mysterious Island that you can engage in a fight. Defeating these Rare Enemies will give more EXP than the normal fights.

Complete Dramatic Scenes

During the battles, sometimes one of your characters will get into a dramatic scene where his health might get low or get debuffed by something. These scenes are crucial and completing the scenes without getting that character die will give you a bonus EXP.

Use the Camps to Party

As you progress through the Story, you will find camps in which your characters can Party. Partying with the crew at the Camp also gives additional EXP.

Complete Side Missions

Players will also get to complete the Side Missions of other characters. Completing these missions will also give you EXP along with Rewards.

Do Bounty Head Hunts

Players can also take part in Bounty Hunting which also gives additional EXP. You can find these Bounty Hunting missions in different areas and towns on the Island.

Do Memory Links Missions

Memory Links are the bonus missions that players can complete within the World of Memories. Players will get to fight strong enemies with a challenge. Completing these missions will give a decent amount of EXP as well along with Rewards.
