Fishing is one of the activities that players can take part in Palia. Fish can be used for several purposes as well as can be used to make money. Players can catch High-Quality Fish from various fish spots around Kimila Village and sell them to the General Store in Palia to get earn decent money. Other than that, fish is essential for various Cooking Recipes.

How to Catch Fish in Palia

To get started with the Fishing activity, players must first get the Fishing Rod. Without the Fishing Rod, players will not be able to catch fish. To get the Fishing Rod, players need to find Einar. He is the leader of the Fishing Guild and players can find him at the Fishing Hut. After finding and talking to Einar, players will get the Fishing Rod.

Once players have obtained the Fishing Rod, they need to go to one of the fishing spots around Kimila Village. Fish can be seen from a distance in the bubble spots in the water. To catch a guaranteed fish, players must put on any type of Bait on the Hook and cast the line right in the middle of the bubble spot. The Baits can also be obtained from Einar and it is useful to have several Baits in the inventory for fishing.

Catching Fish Mechanics

After getting all the required things for fishing, players need to equip the Fishing Rod by holding down the R button and selecting the Fishing Rod from the wheel. After that, players need to press the Right-Click to place the Bait on the Hook and then Hold the Left Click Button to aim the throw at the bubble spot. Let go of the Left Click Button once the aim is on the bubble spot and wait for the fish to catch on the hook.

When the fish catch the hook, players need to hold the Left Click Button to reel in the fish and move the mouse to adjust the bars around the fish in Green Color. When the bars go red, let go of the reel and move the mouse to adjust the bars to green and then continue reeling in. Once the fish has fully reeled in, it will be caught and stored in the inventory.
