Palia: How to Get Ashwood Plank

Foraging in Palia will get players several types of materials. The materials are essential for crafting refined materials and crafting other useful items. One of the new woods that players can forage is the Lantern Ashwood, which only spawns in the Royal Highlands region.  Players can use the Lantern Ashwood to craft a new refined material, Ashwood Plank. How to Get the Ashwood Plank in Palia

Ashwood Plank is a common refined material in Palia, and you can get it by sawing the Lantern Ashwood in a Sawmill. There are various Sawmill Types that you can unlock in Palia, and one of the early ones is a Basic Sawmill. You can unlock it by reaching Level 2 of the Foraging Activity. Once you have reached Level 2 of Foraging Activity, you will be able to buy a Basic Sawmill recipe from Ashura for 50 Gold.

Alternatively, you can purchase the Ashwood Planks from the Blacksmith for 4 Gold per piece. If you have gold to spare, purchase the planks directly from the Blacksmith.

However, you would also have to get the Ashwood Plank recipe to craft it. You can buy the Ashwood Plank recipe for 500 Gold from Ashura at Foraging Level 4. You cannot make Ashwood Plank without any of those 2 items, so it is important to get them.

Craft the Ashwood Plank at the Sawmill

Crafting an Ashwood Plank requires 1x Lantern Ashwood. The Lantern Ashwoods are obtained by cutting the Lantern Ash trees found in the Royal Highlands map zone. After getting the Lantern Ashwood, players need to interact with the Sawmill and place the wood inside the Sawmill. Once done, select the Ashwood Plank recipe to start the crafting process. It will take 2 minutes to make 1 Ashwood Plank in a Basic Sawmill. Players can retrieve it by interacting with the sawmill and selecting the Ashwood Plank from the Completed Jobs Blocks.

Moreover, if you have a Heavy Sawmill, it will take 1 minute and 18 seconds for 1 Ashwood Plank to craft.

Uses of Ashwood Plank in Palia

The Ashwood Plank has several uses, including crafting several furniture items and Amadeus’ Blessing II Relic. Other than that, you can choose to sell it to Zeki or at the Shipping Bin for 2 Gold. Moreover, you can also gift it to certain villagers who like it or who need it as a weekly want. If you craft any Ashwood Planks, store them in the storage so you can give them to villagers who need them. The needs of villagers change every week, so keep your eyes on them.
