As all players are the human race in Palia, they would be able to understand the language of the ancient humans. The very first main puzzle of the game that players will get to solve is a riddle inside the Ancient Chamber which is unlocked after players have got the Ancient Battery.

How to Solve the Riddle in Ancient Chamber

The riddle is the first test of players in the game. As players get to meet several NPCs and get tools from them, they will be able to find an Ancient Thing. Players need to give the ancient item to Jina so she can research it. After a whole day of in-game, Jina will tell players that it is an Ancient Battery and can be placed at the Ancient Chamber to unlock it. Ancient Chamber is located at the very starting place of the game where players first met Jina.

Instead of going to the shrine, players need to go straight to find the door of the Ancient Chamber. Interact with the door to place the Ancient Battery in it to open the door. As players go ahead, they will find another closed door for which they have to solve the riddle. The riddle for opening the door is “Knowledge grows the mind even in times of strife, To enter here, you must supply that which grows life.”

To solve the riddle, players need to fill up the Watering Can and bring it to the cauldron in the Ancient Chamber and fill it up with Water. Make sure to get the Watering Can from Hodari if you haven’t and fill it up with water from the nearby lake.

Filling up the cauldron will solve the riddle and open the next door and players will be able to explore further of the Ancient Chamber.
