Palia: How to Unlock the Stove
Palia offers players the opportunity to engage in various activities that aid in progressing through the game. Engaging in specific activities is necessary to level up and unlock new crafting recipes or advanced crafters. One such activity is Cooking, which players can partake in using a Campfire. The Campfire is solely used for cooking Grilled recipes, and if players wish to prepare more elaborate dishes, they must unlock the Standard Stove.
Curious about how to unlock the Stove for a wider array of cooking options? You’ve come to the right place. This guide will explain how to unlock the Stove in Palia.
How to Unlock the Stove in Palia
To unlock the Stove, you must cook 10 Grilled recipes on the Campfire. This will advance your Cooking Activity level, allowing you to unlock more recipes from Reth. Reth, the leader of the Cooking Guild, requires a conversation once you reach Level 2 in the Cooking Activity. Upon meeting him, he will generously provide you with the Standard Stove recipe, free of charge, which you’ll then need to craft at the Worktable.

Crafting the Standard Stove
Unlocking the Standard Stove isn’t the tricky part; it’s the crafting that poses the challenge. Crafting the Standard Stove entails using several Refined Materials, which players must craft on the Basic Smelter. The following materials are required for crafting the Standard Stove:
- 12x Stone Brick
- 5x Ceramic
- 2x Copper Bar
To create a Stone Brick, you’ll need 2x Stone, with each brick taking 2 minutes to craft at the Smelter. Crafting a Ceramic necessitates 2x Clay and takes 4 minutes per Ceramic at the Smelter. For a Copper Bar, you’ll require 5x Copper Ores, and it will take 3 minutes to craft 1x Copper Bar at the Smelter.
Once you’ve gathered all the necessary materials, proceed to the Worktable and access the Crafters Tab to locate the Standard Stove recipe. Select the recipe and choose the “Make” option to craft the Standard Stove. Afterward, position the Standard Stove within the vicinity of the Plot Area.

Additionally, ensure you have a Prep Station in close proximity to the Standard Stove. This station is necessary for preparing the ingredients required for the cooking recipe you’re using on the Standard Stove.
