Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Leaks Confirm Lack of Platinum Content

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl do not contain platinum content, according to new leaks. You are also looking in vain for new Pokémon, new shapes, or the like in the remake. On the one hand, that doesn’t seem particularly surprising, of course, because it’s just a remake of pearl and diamond and doesn’t have to have anything to do with the platinum edition. On the other hand, many fans had hoped for it anyway and there were some possible hints of a new Pokémon.

Pokémon Pearl and Diamond: DS remakes for Switch probably don’t introduce anything new

That’s what it’s all about: Pokémon Pearl and Diamond get a new edition for the Switch. It should appear on November 19th and apparently, some copies are already in circulation. Accordingly, leaks are already circulating. According to these leaks, there is no content from the platinum edition and no new Pokémon or forms in the remake.

Nothing from the Platinum Edition: Apparently there is no content from Pokémon Platinum in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. That means, you will probably not see any corresponding trainer teams made of platinum, and the arena puzzles, characters, and animations are based exclusively on the originals from the diamond and pearl versions.

No new shapes or Pokémon? Accordingly, no new Pokémon will appear inPokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Fans had hoped that some platinum innovations would also find their way into the diamond and pearl remake.

But beware! All of this doesn’t have to mean something. On the one hand, fans could interpret too much into the theories.
