Pokémon Pokopia: How to Unlock Dive
Discover how to unlock the Dive move, a new move added to Pokémon Pokopia with the 2,0.0 update, and is also essential for Bubbly Basin DLC.
Pokémon Pokopia 2.0 update is available now for all players, bringing new content and new moves to learn. In addition to the free update, the Bubbly Basin DLC is also available, offering the first-ever underground biome for Ditto to explore. As Ditto cannot explore underneath the water, it is crucial to get the Dive move. In this guide, we will explain how to unlock the Dive move in Pokémon Pokopia.
How to Unlock the Dive Move in Pokémon Pokopia
The Dive is the newly added move in Pokémon Pokopia with the 2.0.0 update. This new move is free to learn for all players in Pokopia. However, for players who are looking forward to pursuing the new adventure underneath the water (Bubbly Basin), the Dive move is essential.
All Requirements to Learn the Dive Move

Although the Dive move is available to learn for all players, it still requires base game progression up until Bleak Beach. You must complete the Bleak Beach main quest and reach Environment Level 5 on Bleak Beach. In addition to this, you must learn Jump and Surf moves.
Once you have fulfilled the aforementioned requirements, you can pursue and track down Manarphy to learn the Dive move.
Reach Manarphy on a Mysterious Island
Head to the Bleak Beach Pokémon Center to find Professor Tangrowth. Speak with him, and he will mention a mysterious island north of the Bleak Beach zone. After speaking with Tangrowth, make your way to the edge of the water and use the Surf move to reach the mysterious island.

Once there, you will find Manarphy. Speak with Manarphy and accept his request to bring him 5x Seaweed. You can find the Seaweed easily on the beaches. After gathering the Seaweed, bring it to Manarphy, and he will teach you the Dive move.
Upon learning the Dive move, Manarphy will put you up for a test dive. Head into the water on the island and go to the center of the pool to find a treasure chest, containing a decorative Poke Ball.

NOTE: The Dive move activates automatically when you step into a deep pool of water.
Go and loot the chest, and get back to Manarphy to complete the diving practice request. Once done, you can then pursue the Bubbly Basin DLC.
