Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: How to Catch Larvesta

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: How to Catch Larvesta

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have different types of Pokemon in the game which can be caught at any time after completing the prologue of the game. As Pokemon have different levels and players can find it difficult to catch high-level Pokemon but if they also have a high-level Pokemon then they can go to a toe to toe battle and when the opposite Pokemon gets low on health, they will be able to catch it. One of the Pokemon that players can catch after a few hours in the game is Larvesta.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to catch Larvesta in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Larvesta is a Bug Type and Fire Type Pokemon that is one of the Torch Pokemon in the game but it is also very effective in dealing decent damage to enemies in battle. However, it’s a small Pokemon and the starting level of Larvesta is 25. Since Larvesta has mostly Bug and Fire attacks, you can use any Rock Type Pokemon or Water Type Pokemon to deal great damage to him and when his HP gets low, you will be able to catch him with the Poke Ball.

Location of Larvesta

Larvesta is one of the rarely seen Pokemon in the game so its spawn rate is comparatively lower than the other Pokemon but it lives in the Desert and there is only one major Desert in the game named Asado Desert. Asado Desert is in the West Province (Area One). It is on the west side of Paldea and you can see the exact location in the Pokedex app. The Pokedex app is on your character’s Rotom Phone. You just need to go to the marked location with orange blocks and you will be able to find Larvesta in the area.

Catching Larvesta

Larvesta can be seen easily in the desert but since it is a rare Pokemon you might not find it in a single run so you have to fly to a near Fast Travel point to reset things and then go to the location again to see him. There is also no specific time for Larvesta to spawn but we do find him in the nighttime so try to go to Asado Desert in the nighttime to find him. You can also roam around the desert and whenever you pass near Larvesta, it will be shown on your mini-map and you will be able to engage him in a battle.

Larvesta is a Bug Type and Fire Type Pokemon so you can use Water Type, Rock Type, or Lightning Type Pokemon to deal great damage to him and when he gets low on health, throw the Poke Ball at him to catch him and add it in your Pokemon Army. If you have Quick Ball or Premium Ball then you can use that as well to try to catch him without fighting him in the battle.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
