Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: How to Get Judge Function

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet also have Individual Values which are the hidden stats of the Pokemon stored in your PC Boxes. To check the IVs of Pokemon, players will need to get a specific function named Judge Function which is used to show the Individual Values of the Pokemon.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get the Judge Function in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Getting Judge Function

For the players who want to see the Individual Values of their Pokemon, they can only do it by activating the Judge Function. Judge Function is only activated by completing the Storyline of Pokemon Scarlet or Pokemon Violet. When players have completed all of the paths in the story, they’ll become the Champion and get the Hall of Fame Badge which is the last Badge of the game. After that, the credits of the game will roll out and then players will be able to get the Judge Function and activate it to see the Individual Values of Pokemon.

Once players have got all 8 Badges and defeated the Elite four, they need to go to the Pokemon Center. They can go to any Pokemon Center and then they need to interact with the Lady at the middle counter and she’ll activate the Judge Function for you to use. Once you’ve gotten activated the Judge Function, you’ll be able to see the IVs of your Pokemon.

Individual Values are the hidden stats that determine if a Pokemon is more powerful than another Pokemon of the same species. Players will be able to see these stats by activating the Judge Function in the Boxes tab of the menu. To activate the Judge Function, players need to press the + Button Twice by hovering over the Pokemon in the Boxes tab.

The IVs of that Pokemon will be shown on the right side of the screen and you’ll see the ratings of the Pokemon. The ratings that Judge Function can show on the basis of Pokemon are the following.

  • Amazing Stats: 151~186
  • Great: 121~150
  • Good: 91~120
  • Ok: 0~90

Players will easily understand the ratings of Individual Values with the help of the Judge Function and then level up and power up their Pokemon to the Amazing Stats bar.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
