PS5 games will be released in Europe before the console itself

PlayStation Spain confirms that PS5 launch games, such as Miles Morales or Demon’s Souls, will be on sale on November 12, before the console.
As you probably already know, Sony will launch PlayStation 5 in November. But there are two dates that we must follow. On the one hand, the console will be released in some countries, such as the United States or Japan, on November 12. In the rest of the world, it will be released a week later, on November 19.

That means that in Spain (and throughout Europe) they will receive the console a little later … but what about games?

All the console games will be on sale in Spain on November 12. Isn’t it weird that they come out a week before the console? Well, it has its explanation.

Well, there are several explanations, but the main one is that the launch of the console in some territories is on October 12 and the distribution is carried out at the same time. Also, many of these games will also be released on PS4. For example, two big stars announced alongside the console, Sackboy: A Big Adventure and Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales, will also appear on the current-generation console.

Indeed, Sackboy recently announced a special edition in physical format, which will include a plush … and will only be available on PS4.

For now, the only completely exclusive PS5 games hitting stores on November 12 are Demon’s Souls Remake and Destruction All-Stars.
