Raymond Makes Sense For The Third Animal Crossing Plush created By Build-A-Bear

We recently learned that a new Animal Crossing plush toy created by Build-A-Bear will be announced later this summer. Well, it looks like fans are already placing their bets on who it will be.

After Isabelle and Tom Nook were confirmed, other characters are being tossed around by fans. However, it seems that Raymond is being positioned as an almost certain bet.

Here’s what points to him being the Third Animal Crossing Build-A-Bear:

• It is exclusive to New Horizons, which would serve to promote the game.
• Represents the wide range of available neighbors, beyond the special characters
• Is one of the most popular neighbors
• His design would make him a good fit for a plush

It’s possible there could be more than three Animal Crossing characters added to the collection over the course of 2021. Previous Build-A-Bear Workshop collections have often added new options slowly when partnering up with popular franchises like Pokémon, Star Wars, and How To Train Your Dragon. Because of this, Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans should check back with the collection throughout the year.
