Reggie Fils-Aime is stepping down from GameStop’s board of directors.
You will surely remember that Reggie Fils-Aime, former president of Nintendo of America, joined GameStop’s board in 2020 and managed to improve Nintendo Switch allocations. Well, it now appears that he is stepping down from this position.
The information comes from GameStop’s most recent investor presentation, which states that Reggie and other members will no longer serve on the company’s board. It is further clarified that this and other member removals are not due to any disagreement related to the company’s “operations, policies or practices”.
We may have to wait until June for further developments when the next board meeting will take place. However, Reggie himself may speak out on the matter sooner.
What do you think about it? We’ll keep an eye out for more details.
