Remnant 2: How to Obtain the Gas Giant

The Gas Giant is a concealed Melee Weapon within Remnant 2, attainable by players during their playthrough through specific choices. With a base damage of 74, the Gas Giant releases dormant Toxic Gas upon dealing damage to enemies. Infusing basic attacks triggers a CORRODED effect that lasts for 5 seconds. Additionally, the Gas Giant Melee Weapon includes an exclusive Weapon Mod known as Dying Breath. Upon infusion, the Neural Backdash Charge Attack detonates in a 3-meter Area of Effect (AOE), leaving behind a 15-second-lasting ACID Cloud.

How to Obtain the Gas Giant in Remnant 2

Crafting the Gas Giant Melee Weapon can be accomplished at Ava, located in the Ward 13 area. This crafting process mandates a unique material known as the Acidic Jawbone, in addition to other common materials. To obtain the Acidic Jawbone, you must advance in the game until you’ve unlocked the N’Erud World. It’s essential to commence N’Erud World from the Forgotten Prison area. If desired, you can reroll the adventure mode of N’Erud World to initiate your progress from the Forgotten Prison area.

Upon reaching this point, proceed to complete the main questline of N’Erud World. Doing so will grant you access to the Tal’Ratha’s Refuge area. Within Tal’Ratha’s Refuge, opt to allow Tal’Ratha to consume you. This choice initiates a confrontation with his metaphysical form. Upon successfully defeating this boss, you will acquire the Acidic Jawbone material.

Once you have secured the required material, return to the Ward 13 area and engage in a conversation with Ava. Through this interaction, you can craft the Gas Giant Melee Weapon, necessitating 1x Acidic Jawbone, 7x Lumenite Crystal, and 1,000 Scraps.

The Gas Giant proves exceptionally effective for the Challenger Archetype, enabling you to inflict ACID elemental damage upon enemies in close-quarters encounters.

Playing Video Games is the very first hobby that I partake in and it became my favorite hobby. Played Unreal Tournament 2004 as my first game which made me a fan of FPS Games. Story and Adventure Games are still my Cup of Tea to go with as they give more detailing to the described worlds and characters. I love to help out my fellow gamers across all over the world by making my publications.
