Rocket League is now shareware-the PC version is only available in EGS

The game’s transition to a new distribution model was previously warned by developers, and now it is free on all platforms — PS4, Switch, Xbox One and PC. For Rocket League, you can still purchase add-ons with “cosmetics” and in-game currency.

In addition, the PC version was removed from Steam — now it has become an exclusive Epic Games Store. The game is still linked to the accounts of users who bought it earlier, but you can’t add it to the library from the Valve store.

Until October 23, EGS will have a special offer — everyone who adds Rocket League to their account will receive a coupon for a discount of 650 rubles (for ordering games that cost from 899 rubles).

In honor of the release in the Epic store, Rocket League and Fortnite will host a Llama-Rama crossover event- tests in both games will be available from September 27 to October 12.
