Rumour: Sony is preparing a Bloodborne remaster for PlayStation 5 and PC with 4K and 60FPS support
French insider SoulsHunt, who spoke about Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin before its official announcement, claims that Sony Interactive Entertainment is preparing an updated version of the hardcore game Bloodborne for the next-gen PlayStation 5 console and PC. The announcement is allegedly due to take place soon.
If SoulsHunt is to be believed, the Bloodborne remaster will be released on PlayStation 5 first, and by the end of 2021, and then will please PC gamers. The insider described the re-release of the PlayStation 4 hardcore hit as “ambitious”, but stressed that it’s not being developed by FromSoftware or the Bluepoint Games team responsible for the Demon’s Souls remake.

Finally, an insider claims that Bloodborne will not receive a sequel. Studio FromSoftware is allegedly interested in creating new IPs and does not want to release sequels to old ones, even if they become successful.
FromSoftware itself is currently working on the Elden Ring game
