Seasons, maximum level increases, pokémon from Kalos: details of the Go Beyond update for Pokémon GO

Pokémon GO, a mobile AR game about collecting pokemon, will get the Go Beyond update on November 30. After that, it will increase the maximum level that users can get — from the 40th to the 50th. At the same time, players will gain more experience from catching pokemon, their development, and other actions, and everyone who reaches level 40 before December 31, 2020, will be given exclusive rewards: a Gyarados-style headdress and a medal.
However, to get all levels from 41st to 50th, users will not only need to gain experience but also perform special tasks.

As part of the Go Beyond update, Pokémon GO will also introduce 17 sixth-generation Pokémon native to the Kalos region — including Chespin, Quilladin, and Chesnut. In-game events will be replaced with seasons, the first of which will begin on December 1 and will be dedicated to the sixth generation of pokemon. Each season will last three months.
On the occasion of the upcoming release of Go Beyond, the developers have launched the “12 days of friendship” event in Pokémon GO. During the event, players will be able to open more gifts every day, earn more experience for completing raids, and increase friendship levels faster.
