Sony Is Reportedly Investigating The Corruption Issue Of The PS5 And PS4 Consoles

Sony is reportedly investigating battery issues on the PS5 and PS4 that could render the console’s limits unusable. This month, PlayStation users encountered problems with the PS4’s CMOS battery or discovered that once these batteries run out, owners can no longer play digital or physical games offline without first reconnecting to the PSN. However, if the PSN is lost or the user can’t connect, the problem appears to be turning the console into an expensive piece of junk. This is also reported to be a problem for the PS5, although the problem is less severe on the new PlayStation consoles.

Sony has not provided any comment or official statement to the public with the report. At this point, it doesn’t look like what it will be. According to some PlayStation players and conservation activists, “ Is that currently playing? “Sony has started emailing PlayStation users to let them know that the matter is being investigated.

The latter also claims that they heard from a source on PlayStation PR that Sony is eager to sort this out, perhaps for fear of it turning into a major PR bug.

Unfortunately, there is still no solution or how important this problem is. Again, Sony hasn’t and probably won’t publicly admit this. If this is a real problem and a fix is coming, it will most likely be introduced quietly. After all, telling the larger base of PlayStation gamers that their console has a huge problem rendering it unusable is not good PR.

All said, take it all here with a grain of salt. We currently have unofficial reports apart from unofficial reports.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
