GSC Game World ported STALKER 2 to Unreal Engine 5 and enlisted the support of Koch Media

The GamesIndustry.biz website presented statistics of the most discussed games and presentations from E3 2021, which for some reason did not include S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.
The period in question was the week of the show, highlighting popular videos, presentations, and mentions on social networks.

It is not entirely clear how exactly the views were calculated in the case of the game trailers; only the different number of channels taken into account and the percentage of views by third-party “Influencers” are mentioned.

Most popular trailers (number of channels and percentage of views from outside):

  • Elden Ring – 23.1 million (241 and 40%)
  • Forza Horizon 5 – 20.5 million (125 and 34%)
  • Battlefield 2042 – 10.9 million (137% and 84%)
  • Avatar Frontiers Of Pandora – 10.2 million (100 and 27%)
  • Rainbow Six: Extraction – 7.1 million (98% & 45%)
  • Guardians Of The Galaxy Game – 6.8 million (184 and 23%)
  • Halo Infinite – 5.3 million (107% and 40%)
  • Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 – 5.1 million (130 and 76%)
  • Mario and Rabbids Sparks of Hope – 4 million (82% and 28%)
  • Starfield – 3.4 million (79% and 58%)
  • Far Cry 6 – 2.7 million (79 and 33%)
  • Redfall – 2.3 million (54 and 9%)
  • Just Dance 2022 – 2.1 million (27% and 9%)
  • The Outer Worlds 2 – 1.9 million (44% and 4%)
  • Evil Dead: The Game – 1.8 million (30% and 7%)
  • Back 4 Blood – 1.4 million (36 and 5%)
  • Age Of Empires IV – 1.3 million (31 and 15%)
  • Jurassic World Evolution 2 – 1.2 million (27% and 69%)
  • Microsoft Flight Simulator – 1.2 million (27% and 11%)
  • Valorant – 1.1 million (8 and 89%).

It can be assumed that STALKER 2. is not on the list due to the low number of views during the exhibition, but already on June 13, the total views of the fresh trailer on YouTube were at least 2.1 million.

The most viewed presentations were named:

  • Nintendo Direct – 26 million (305 and 26%)
  • Xbox & Bethesda – 14.4 million (191 and 7%)
  • Summer Game Fest Kick Off – 9.7 million (172 and 14%)
  • Ubisoft Forwards – 5.1 million (207 and 31%)
  • Square Enix Presents – 3.2 million (85% and 16%)
  • PC Gaming Show – 2.5 million (115 and 26%)
  • Koch Media Primetime Event – 1.8 million (48% and 6%).

  1. Battlefield 2042
  2. Forza Horizon 5
  3. Halo infinite
  4. Starfield
  5. Metroid Dread
