How to Farm the Metal Accelerant Easily in The First Descendant

Metal Accelerant is a basic material in The First Descendant that players can obtain from Resource Boxes and Munitions (Blue Barrels) in the Sterile Land region. You can find the Metal Accelerant in both Normal and Hard difficulty on Sterile Land. The Resource Boxes and Munitions are scattered throughout each area of the Sterile Land and the best way to locate these items is by using the Scanner.

Press the R3/RS button to use the scanner and it will highlight the resource box and munition with a white diamond icon on your screen that is in the range. To farm the Metal Accelerant, it is best to start at the Ironworks Outpost and then run around while using the scan to pick up every resource box and munition to gather all Metal Accelerant.

Each resource box and munition will drop around 200 Metal Accelerants and you can easily get over a thousand with a couple of runs through the area. Upon getting each resource box and munition, travel back to the outpost to respawn them and repeat the run.
