The Fortress of Saditude is the second Friendship Quest for Sadness in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Players will be able to pursue this quest after unlocking Sadness as a villager. Sadness is enjoying her time in the Valley, but she needs a quiet place of her own to be herself. In this guide, we will walk you through the Fortress of Saditude quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Complete the Fortress of Saditude Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Starting the Quest

To initiate the Fortress of Saditude quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players will have to reach Friendship Level 4 with Sadness and complete the Storm’s A-Brewin’ quest and the Mood Swings quest for Joy. In addition to that, players must have unlocked WALL-E for the quest to be triggered.

Upon fulfilling all the requirements, the Fortress of Saditude quest will become available. Go and speak with Sadness to start the quest.

Take a picture of potential locations for Sadness’s Cozy Pillow Fort

After speaking with Sadness, you need to look for potential locations where Sadness can build her Cozy Pillow Fort. Go to the following locations and take a picture of each one.

  • Near Scrooge McDuck’s Store.
  • Near Merlin’s library.
  • Next to your House.

Once done, go back to Sadness to show her the images of the locations.

Gather the ingredients to craft Sadness’s Cozy Pillow Fort

Now, gather the following ingredients to craft Sadness’s fort.

  • 8x Blue Star Lily: Grows in the Forest of Valor biome. 4 max at a time.
  • 8x Blue Marsh Milkweed: Grows in the Glade of Trust biome. 3 max at a time.
  • 3x Aquamarine: Mine the mining nodes in the Dazzle Beach and Forest of Valor biomes.
  • 8x Blue Hydrangea: Grows in the Dazzle Beach biome. 4 max at a time.
  • 20x Softwood: Spawn near the trees in the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, Forest of Valor, and Glade of Trust biomes.
  • 10x Donald’s Fallen Feathers: Spawns on the ground in the Plaza (3), Peaceful Meadow (3), and Dazzle Beach (4).

Upon gathering all of the materials, go to any crafting station to craft Sadness’s Cozy Pillow Fort. You can find its recipe under the “Furniture” tab of the crafting station. After crafting the fort, go into the furniture mode and place it anywhere in the Valley. Once done, go and speak with Sadness.

Gather extra pillows from some villagers

Now, you need to get a few extra pillows. For the first pillow, go to Scrooge McDuck’s Store and purchase Scrooge’s Pillow. It will cost you 480 Star Coins. After that, go and speak with WALL-E and Goofy for extra pillows. To get the pillow from WALL-E, go to its house and break the trash cube using the Pickaxe. Once done, go to Dazzle Beach and look for a gold ripple in the water. Equip the fishing rod and fish out Goofy’s Pillow from the gold ripple. After getting all three extra pillows from the villagers, place them next to Sadness’s Cozy Pillow Fort. Interact with the fort and you will be able to place them. Once done, speak with Sadness at her fort.

Add furniture near the fort and pick up the Plush Bear Stuffing

After speaking with Sadness, go into the furniture mode and place blue, black, white, or purple furniture around the fort. Navigate to the Requests section to find all eligible furniture items. Place any 5 furniture items around the fort. After that, take a picture with Sadness, and Plush Bear Stuffing will appear on the ground. Pick up the Plush Bear Stuffing and speak with Sadness. Follow her to the dock on Dazzle Beach, and speak with her. As the conversation ends, the Fortress of Saditude quest will conclude.

Playing Video Games is the very first hobby that I partake in and it became my favorite hobby. Played Unreal Tournament 2004 as my first game which made me a fan of FPS Games. Story and Adventure Games are still my Cup of Tea to go with as they give more detailing to the described worlds and characters. I love to help out my fellow gamers across all over the world by making my publications.
