The Paper Mario: The Origami King trailer includes a strange nod to Metroid

Although we have not yet recovered from the shocking announcement of Paper Mario: The Origami King for Nintendo Switch, now we get a curious detail from its trailer.

Apparently, at the end of it is a strange teaser starring Metroid. You can see it in the image above.

This has made fans begin to speculate with the possibility that we may soon find out news about this franchise. It is believed that this could be related to Metroid Prime 4, a confirmed title for the Nintendo Switch but still without a specific date or images available, or with a different project.
