Adam Jackson, a prominent designer for Diablo IV, recently shared some intriguing details about the game’s unique gear system on his Twitter account. He also provided some strategic advice for players aiming to acquire these rare items.

Unique Gear in Diablo IV

According to Jackson, Diablo IV features six unique items that are considered the rarest in the game. These items, which include the “Herald of Doom” and “Grandfather” swords, the “Starless Sky” ring, the “Face of Andariel” and “Jester’s Crest” helmets, and the “Selig’s Molten Heart” amulet, can only be obtained from enemies that have reached level 85 or higher. The power of these items can reach up to 820, making them highly sought after by players.

Acquiring the Rarest Gear

Jackson also provided some tips on how to increase the chances of obtaining these rare items. He explained that each time a player acquires unique gear, there’s a chance that one of these six items will be among them. Therefore, he suggests that the most effective strategy for farming these items is to engage in activities that yield the highest number of unique items over a specific timeframe.

Future Gameplay in Diablo IV

Earlier, the series director Rod Fergusson stated that new heroes will have to be created to go through the upcoming seasons of the action RPG. Blizzard confirmed that new heroes need to be created to go through the seasons in Diablo IV. The completion of the campaign for such a character will be taken into account in the battle pass.
