Unlock More Games: How to Add Funds to Your Nintendo 3DS

Adding funds to your Nintendo 3DS is a straightforward process that can be done directly from your device. This guide will walk you through the steps to successfully add funds to your Nintendo eShop account.

How to Add Funds to Your Nintendo 3DS

The steps are as follows:

  • The user selects the Nintendo eShop icon from the HOME Menu on the 3DS.
  • The 3DS opens the Nintendo eShop.
  • The user scrolls left and selects ‘Add Funds’ in the eShop.
  • The eShop presents options to add funds.
  • The user selects ‘Add Funds using a Credit Card’ or ‘Add Funds using a Nintendo eShop Card’.
  • The eShop asks for card information.
  • The user enters the card information.
  • The eShop adds funds to the account.

Firstly, from the HOME Menu of your Nintendo 3DS, select the Nintendo eShop icon. This will open the Nintendo eShop, where you can manage your account and purchase games.

Once you’re in the eShop, scroll to the left and select the ‘Add Funds’ option. This will present you with two options to add funds: ‘Add Funds using a Credit Card’ or ‘Add Funds using a Nintendo eShop Card’.

If you choose to add funds using a credit card, the eShop will ask for your card information. Enter the required details and follow the prompts to complete the transaction. If you’re using a Nintendo eShop Card, you’ll need to scratch off the silver area on the back of the card to reveal the card’s number, and then enter this number when prompted.

After you’ve entered your card information, the eShop will process the transaction and add the funds to your account. You can now use these funds to purchase games and other content from the Nintendo eShop.

Remember, always ensure that your internet connection is stable when performing these steps to avoid any transaction issues.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
