V Rising: How to get coarse thread

In V Rising, you’d need to get some items required to upgrade your equipment and in one of those items, the most important item that you’d need to get is the Coarse Thread. In this guide, we tell you about the Coarse Thread and where can you find the Coarse thread in the game.

Coarse Thread

The main reason you need Coarse Thread is that it is needed to craft the new armor. When you start the game in Farbane Woods, you’d have a starting level of gear and to upgrade your gear you’d need to get the Coarse Thread item. You’d also need to collect 16 Coarse Threads so you can upgrade your gear and increase your gear level and complete the tutorial of the game.

The Coarse thread item cannot be crafted or made in any machine so, you’d have to get the spawn location of this item.

How to find Coarse Threads

Coarse Thread item has few locations where it can be found but it is one of the rare items in the game. You can find this in the Bandit Camps throughout the Farbane Woods. The bandit camps on the western and the eastern sides have the most chance for you to get the Coarse Thread. This item can also be found in the destructible boxes around the map but the chance of finding it is very low, as well as you can also find it while mining Stone Dust and Whetstones. All the locations where can you find this Coarse Thread guaranteed are the following.

• Bandit Camps
• Bandit Trapper Camp
• Bandit Logging Camp

If you want to look for one of these areas, you can look at it from the map, and hovering over the pointer on a location will tell you about the location and the loot of that particular area. Locate the Bandit Trapper Cap and the Bandit Logging Camp as they are the most useful place for this item. Take out all the bandits in the area and you’ll find the Coarse thread.

You’d probably need 16 Coarse Threads in order to get out of the tutorial so make sure to get all of the Coarse Threads required to pass the tutorial and after that, you can leave it or you can continue to take it as they are used in crafting to make new gear in-game.
