The Wishblossom Ranch expansion of Disney Dreamlight Valley offers several new fish that players can catch for various purposes, including cooking new meals and completing quests. One of the new fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley is the Mountain Whitefish. Players will have to get Mountain Whitefish for various expansion quests, along with friendship quests for the new characters, and many other cooking recipes. Where to Find Mountain Whitefish in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Mountain Whitefish is one of the new common fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley, exclusive to the Wishblossom Ranch expansion. Players can get Mountain Whitefish by fishing in the White Ripples or in the open water (outside the ripples) in all the areas of the Wishing Alps biome. It is the very first biome of the Wishblossom Mountains. There are five areas in the Wishing Alps biome: Wishblossom Ranch, Wishing Way, Ranch Highlands, Silver Summit, and Delver Dale. Players need to look for White ripples (bubbles) at the fishing spots.

How to Catch Mountain Whitefish in Disney Dreamlight Valley

After reaching Wishing Alps and locating the White Ripples, equip the Royal Fishing Rod tool and cast the rod line inside the white bubbles. Now, complete the fishing mini-game to catch the Mountain Whitefish.

TIP: If you don’t find any White Ripples, start fishing in the Blue and Gold Ripples in the ponds to spawn a White one after some time. Moreover, it is best to bring a villager with the Fishing role to increase the overall yield.

If you are fishing in the open water, there is a high chance that you will catch Old Braided Rope. Try for a couple of more tries to catch the Mountain Whitefish from the open water.

Use of Mountain Whitefish in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Players can consume Mountain Whitefish to restore 150 Energy. Furthermore, it is a necessary ingredient for the Baked Whitefish and Roasted Beets recipe. Players can also use Mountain Whitefish as an ingredient in various recipes. Lastly, they can sell it to Goofy for 30 Star Coins.
