Whispers in the Wind Quest Guide in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Whispers in the Wind is a brand-new quest for Moana in Disney Dreamlight Valley. It was added recently with the new major free update, Whispers of the Wind. Moana will inform you about the Glowing Algae and ask you to bring it to her. After that, you and Moana will discover a mysterious island, from where you bring Pocahontas, a new character to the Valley. How to Start the Whispers in the Wind Quest

As you spawn in the Valley after updating the game to the latest client, you will receive a letter from Moana. Moana will mention the Glowing Algae in her letter and ask you to search Dazzle Beach to find more. Now, to start the Whispers in the Wind quest, you must pick up the Glowing Algae on the Dazzle Beach. Head to the Dazzle Beach biome and look for a glowing blue Algae. Pick it up, and the Whispers in the Wind quest will initiate.

Bring Glowing Algae to Moana

After finding the Glowing Algae, bring it to Moana. Open the map to find her, and then go and speak with her. She will ask you to meet her inside her house. Head to Moana’s house and speak with her again. Once done, interact with the boating equipment in her house. It will teleport you to a new island. After that, speak with Moana again to start exploring the island.

Investigate the Mystery Island

After speaking with Moana, head up the path to find Swirling Flower Petal Winds. Wait for a moment as Moana catches up to you, and then speak with her. After that, a memory orb will drop from the winds. Pick up the memory orb to see the two dig spots on the island. Once done, tell Moana about the dig spots.

Search the Mystery Island for dig spots

Go straight opposite the flower petal winds to find the first digging spot on the beach. Equip the Royal Shovel and dig it to find a jewelry piece. Now, continue on the beach toward the right side to come across the second digging spot near the trees. Dig this spot as well to find another jewelry piece. Once done, go back to Moana to bring her the jewelry pieces.

Re-order the jumbled memory (Mystery Island Puzzle)

After speaking to Moana, an orb will spawn in front of the flower petal winds. Interact with the orb to access the Mystery Island Puzzle. To solve the puzzle, you have to connect all the pieces like a jigsaw puzzle. Drag the pieces from the left and rotate them to see where they fit. I suggest start filling out the borders first to make it easier to fill the center.

Go to the Boat at the Dock

After solving the puzzle, speak with Moana, and then go to the boat at the docks. Interact with the boat to select the destination. Select the East destination to find the whirlpool in the water.

Find Floating Planks

After finding the whirlpool, you need to gather some floating planks. Interact with the boat and select the North destination. Here, you can pick up three floating planks from the water.

Fish out the jewelry piece in the flowing whirlpool

Now, head back to the East destination and interact with the sparkling spot to place down the planks. After that, go close to the whirlpool and equip the fishing rod. Cast the line into the ripple to start fishing out the jewelry piece.

Repair the jewelry pieces

Now, interact with the boat and return to the Mystery Island. Once there, interact with the crafting station near the docks to repair the jewelry pieces. Select the “Requests” section to find the recipe for the Repaired Necklace. Craft the Repaired Necklace, and then bring it to Moana near the flower petal winds. As you give the necklace to Moana, a brief cutscene will start, and Pocahontas will appear from the winds.

Unlock Pocahontas’s Yehakin

Speak with Pocahontas and go through the dialogues to get the foundation for Pocahontas’s Yehakin. After speaking with Pocahontas, return to the Valley by interacting with the boating equipment near the docks. Once you are in the Valley, open the furniture mode to place the foundation of Pocahontas’s Yehakin anywhere in the Valley. After that, interact with Scrooge’s sign to finish building Pocahontas’s Yehakin.

Welcome Pocahontas

Now, welcome Pocahontas to the Valley by taking a picture with her. After that, speak with Pocahontas, and the Whispers in the Wind quest will conclude.
