Dave the Diver – How to Sell Items

Diving into the Blue Hole and catching fish and finding various items is one of the essential things that all players will do in Dave the Diver. As fish are required to run Dave’s Sushi Restaurant and the items can be used for upgrades as well as crafting. However, players will not be needing common items and materials as they progress through the game so, it is best to sell the unnecessary items to make money on the side. As money allows players to upgrade the diving gear to new levels which is essential for future chapters of the game.

How to Sell Items in Dave the Diver

From Day 1 in the game, players will have leisure to sell the fish and condiments at the Sushi Restaurant to make money but they won’t be able to sell any other item that they found in the Blue Hole. Players will have to complete the Restaurant Tutorial and after that, they will unlock the “Ingredients” tab which will show the Fish and Condiments. Players can choose any available fish and condiments to sell for extra money. The sell option will be on the bottom of the Ingredients Menu and players only need to press it while selecting the fish and condiments from the inventory to sell them.

In order to sell the items and materials along with fish and condiments, players will have to unlock Cobra’s Premium Shop. Cobra will buy everything at the players’ disposal that they want to sell. However, Cobra’s Premium Shop will not be available from the start of the game so, players would have to make a bit of progress in the main story. Once players have unlocked Cobra’s Shop, they would be able to view the shop by interacting with him.

Interact with Cobra on the Mothership and select the Shop option to view the shop and to sell the items, change the Tab to Sell. Players need to select the item that they want to sell and then confirm it to sell. However, it is best to not sell the materials like ropes, wood, and ores at the start of the game because they are used in crafting to make new weapons. Make sure to double-check the items that you are selling to stay on the safe side.
